About the Homestay

Baan Muk Talay is a small, tranquil homestay with just five overwater cottages set on a wooden pier in the fishing village of Bang Sare. Wake up to the sound of gentle waves, watch local boats drift by, and end your day with a sunset over the Gulf of Thailand right outside your door.
Run by a local family, we keep things simple, warm, and personal, home-cooked breakfast, local recommendations, and help with everything from motorbike rentals to island hopping.

We are located in the seaside village of Bang Sare, about 25–30 minutes south of Pattaya and roughly 2 hours from central Bangkok (depending on traffic).

Do you offer parking and Wi‑Fi?
Yes, we offer free parking near the homestay and free Wi‑Fi in all cottages and common areas. Mobile signal is generally good in the area as well.
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is usually from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you need different times, mention it in your booking request and we’ll do our best to accommodate, depending on availability.
How do I confirm my booking?
After you send us your dates, we’ll reply with availability and price. To confirm, we may ask for a small deposit by bank transfer for peak dates, with the remaining amount paid on arrival in cash or via transfer.
